Two Of You

by C Cattaway   Jul 24, 2007

I wish, to you, the happiness
That I could never find.
I hope you enjoy each other,
And have an open mind

That when you cannot get your way,
Accept the compromise,
For once the ring is worn too long,
It's easy to surmise

That your way is the only way,
Yet there are two of you
Who will share all that marriage is,
So whatever you go through

Make sure you do it together.
Two hearts, combined as one.
One soul to share the life you have
Made whole, within the sun.
