Will not cry for you
Know what you would say
Lived a life with laughter
So remember me that way

Will not cry for you
If I remember your smile
Those silly jokes we said
Will have all been worthwhile

Will not cry for you
The cross you have bared
Lifes not what we gather
But what we have shared

Will not cry for you
I know this is true
Would only be a tragedy
If Id never known you

Will not cry for you
My mind clouded with pain
For these are not tears
Just my eyes making rain

    Beautifully written piece
    I really liked the way you started off each stanza with "will not cry for you". Pefect flow throughout the attire. Also, the emotion was so powerful.

    "Will not cry for you
    My mind clouded with pain
    For these are not tears
    Just my eyes making rain"
    ^^my fav stanza. Loved it

    This is so deeply emotionally moving-it really touched my heart. It is so sad, yet has an underlying positive note as evidenced in the last two lines of the first four stanzas. This is the pain and love and honesty of baring one's soul. Great piece.
