Closing My Heart

The first time I loved again,
I finally let someone in.
I thought this time it was so true,
When he said "I love you."
It took me 7 long months
To be able to trust.
I was so afraid of being hurt,
Being alone didn't seem worse.
And finally he comes along,
Anjd breaks the barrier that's been there so long.
But then he has to go away,
And when he gets back he has something to say.
While he was gone, he had time to think,
And this just causes my heart to break.
He no longer wants to be together...
And I feel like closing my heart forever.

**In my poem titled "Missing You" I told you about my boyfriend who went away. In this poem I am describing my feelings when he got home. He ended things because he had met someone on his trip...Hope you enjoy it.

    Wow very heartfelt and deep, also very sad:(...you did a great job writing this and i really liked the way you ended it. At one point in time i felt the exact same way.....but then i found someone even better...someone who showed me what true love really is....in time you will to....you just need to have a little faith..well keep up the good work your doing great 5/5!!!

    I now exactly how it feels to wait for love again and then find it and all of a sudden he walks away too
    i promise it gets better
