An escape

( Its not really a poem more like an entry to a book but i want to know what yall think please comment and vote)

Sitting in the corner of the room. Music blaring from the radio, but somehow there was nothing but silence. The music drowned out the screams but the shadows covered the music. Still there was the high pitched ringing of words playing in her head.
Tormenting her with wonder, hurt, and pride. The wonder of the future, the hurt of her past, and the pride of the present.

Her spirit sank into a dream, a fantasy. The colors that flooded the minds eye, the scents and the sensation of the midnight's air brought peace to her soul. Unbelievable sights and the feeling, it brought a warmth that covered her body. A smile crept over her face a sparkle shown in her eyes the depth of this world touched her core. Tasting the sweetness of this dream.... but she realized it was just a dream
