Promise me forever
Tell me you're here to stay
Whisper that you love me
Softly kiss my cherry lips everyday

Promise me you'll be there
Through the pain and the tears
Gently hold my hand
And never let me go

Promise me forever
Wash away my fears
Smother me in your warm embrace
And tell me that I'm safe

Promise me you'll always care
And never make me cry
Forever in your arms
Is where I wanna be

So Promise me forever
Or till the very end
That's all I ever need to know
That forever you'll be mine

    Wow this is a very sweet poem I like how you penned it down. Well i'm not too sure whether you wrote it from your perspective...cause the way i see it...you seem to put urself in a guy' shoes to pen this down. I think the repetition of the 'promise me' kindda worked for me through out the stanza.It was really a delightful to read.Keep it up
