Roses

Roses

You gave me two roses
On that valentine's day
You gave me no kisses
Still, I had nothing to say.

But your roses of love
Has now disappeared
It flew like a dove
You have set it free

The petals wilted, one by one
Waiting for your return
But you were now gone

So the roses still waited
Until there's none left
The only thing that remained
Were the thorns and it's death

The thorns were my feelings
For it hurts when it's held
And the death is my love
For it continues to melt

So now it's time to make
The petals go away
Let it fly with the wind
Let it soar and be free

It is wilted, it is black
It shall never come back
For this is the last step
This is goodbye, this is the end
