Man of Twilight

Darling man of my dreams
I can hear you speak to me
The words of your heart
Shine in all heaven's glory

As I sleep through each night
I can see your beautiful face
In these dreams of passion
I'm blessed with your embrace

I long for the sun to set each day
So I can reach the peak of love
Patiently I await your arrival
From the dreamlands above

In the midst of tonight's fantasy
I've fallen in love with you
Behind the eye lids of hope
I pray my vision will come true

You are a man of perpetual truth
And I long to be in your arms
Upon the terrain of reality
It's impossible to find such charm

Beat upon the doors of truth
Escape the barriers of my imagination
Stretch beyond this hopeful mirage
And break down the walls of hallucination

Darling man of my dreams
I came to see you again tonight
I'm here for another lonely nightmare
Longing in cynical twilight
