Reminisces of his ashes

by BittersweetDecay   Sep 13, 2007

With tear-filled eyes,she mourns at night,
Her past,her present,his shadowy presence
That haunts her dreams beyond sunset's twilight,
As her dried soul reminisces his absence..

Dreadful words he had said are just ashes now,
Compelling her to abandon what she used to be,
Accepting his oblivion as a final vow...
Her heart shall scream again 'myself' instead of 'we'.

She faces fate,but she is missing parts...
The scars she has are the remnants he left in her;
But the pain she feels could unify a thousand hearts
As she goes on,until the raindrops stopped to pour..

Another day,a refreshing ray on her doll face,
This Pocahontas princess shall smile forevermore
Her hands cover her porcelain eyes,no more disgrace
Her head falls back,laughing,she forgot her being so heartsore.

*I wrote this poem for one of my best friends,that broke up recently of her boyfriend..this one is for you my dear,because you deserve much more ^^. I love u <3. PS: the Pocahontas thingy referres to her actually, she know batter than me ^^*
