Don't know why

by emptysole   Sep 17, 2007

I gasp for breath,
as my tears run dry,
left in this world,
I cant help but cry.

All alone I sit waiting,
long days seem to linger,
all truth comes undone,
with the point of just one finger.

I begged you to remain,
but you just turn't away,
screaming for your desire,
discovering you wouldn't stay.

I swear I never told them,
the thing's you have done,
the nights you were out,
the thing's you called fun.

So many you left hurt,
larger amount left scared,
when you did what you did,
each time you turn't the card.

When the police nocked on the door,
my body so full of fear,
you left me to deal with it.
as you took off in third gear.

They took all we have,
and disrupted so much more,
by the time they had left,
I was curled up on the floor.

And still I left waiting,
for you to come back,
you are my envy,
the man dressed in black
