Wow, wow... wow! I usually don't read friendship poems, but this one is fantastic! Great free verse, with good choice of words and excellent descriptions within the poem. Whole piece is very powerful!
I would just correct this: The flow is little disturbed in one place when you repeated word "mentioned", but that's just my opinion.

Very honestly written. I'm not sure if I enjoyed it slightly less because of the expletive (piss me off), as you seemed to be doing so well without, however, having had a very long-term friendship go sour, and seeing that said ex-friend is so selfish, where I was too close before to realise it, I can understand the strength that those particular words add to your passion on the subject. Very well written. xx

This was an amazing poem with lots of power and emotion. i especially loved the lines

"your eyes will scan the words
glaze over
and fall out
...
or
you will be flattered because
yet again you are mentioned."

these really drew me in, along with your amazing and vivid word choice. there are a couple of spots that couldve been more "showing" than "telling" but over-all, this was a very well-written piece.
