This is an excellent write and spoken with great conviction. Trust in yourself first and your abilities to succeed in life. Never give up on yourself and take charge of your life. May peace and joy fill your heart each and everyday.

Powerful poem with deep meanings behind it. I like the topic and I can agree with you in a way.
Whole poem is greatly written, it has good flow from the beginning to the end.
    My favorite stanza is:

    -Each lie's another blade,
    Cutting deep into my heart,
    Causing it to bleed,
    Tearing it apart.-
    ^^
    Effective description.

    Greatly done!

Just because other people cant stay by your side all the time doesnt mean you shouldnt trust them. Though I must admit there are those who just take what they want and leave. Just because someone hurt you doesnt mean everybody else will. You cant believe in love when you dont trust. Humans were never built to hate but love. Some get the mistake of dominating on others when they hear that we should dominate the earth. It only said the earth not men of our own species.

Brilliant insight into the truth surrounding personal relationships, particularly those within our own families and friends unfortunately. Very well articulated.

I love this poem. I know exactly how you feel--i think trust has become overrated. Especially loved this stanza:

"The ones you trust the most,
Will leave you lying on the floor,
    Your heart bleeding out,
And they're walking out the door. "
