A calm walk down the beach
our footprints in the sand
wash away by the ocean's water
we're walking hand in hand
not one of us wanted to leave
your lips touch mine oh so gently
my heartbeat comes to a stop
and everything around me
starts to fade away and flip flop
thats when i know I'm happy
when you hold me close
and never let me go
the warmth of your touch
always lets me know
you're the one for me
days go by and you don't want to leave my mind
my eyes are closed and i see your smile
when your not around i long to be in your arms
holding you close knowing your mine for awhile
thats how i want it to be
there's still time for us to grow
things to learn, things to remember
loving every moment of it all
as each day passes, for
