Pieces of Me

by Forsaken   Oct 1, 2007

While sitting in this lonely corner, I drop my head and cry,
Because the pain is overwhelming, dear God tell my why.
I dry the fallen tears, and see my blackened life; sorrow is only found,
The way I've lived, destruction I've caused; I should be in the ground.
I thought there was no hope for me, my life should only end,
But in an instant, it suddenly changed, someone was helping me mend.
The darkness faded, and through the light, I saw your loving face,
You picked me up, and took me away, and we found a better place.
You found the shattered pieces of me, and are putting them together,
We aren't quite finished but there's no hurry, because we have forever.
