Contentment

To sing about the mountains would only restrict the beach,
Signs of showing weakness for the humble and the meek
A sky the same that no matter where you are,
It still allows the twinkle of the brightest star.
The vastest planes to only compare,
With the depths of the oceans, a blackening despairs.
To walk a day and only see
The product of animalistic instincts
Able to find survival in the deepest place
All the while being able, to avoid the voided space.
An early grave calling each of our names
Portraits spaced on the walls of shame.
The question all that really remains,
Is how would you react, if put in a situation the same?
When the only thing that you know is out of your control,
Is there a peaceful ending to life of an emotionless soul?
