The Failure of Modern Society

by Varus   Oct 12, 2007

Excluded from society,
Our peers are filled with anxiety.
Just travel on the local bus,
The people turn and stare at us.
We too have a personality,
We are also filled with originality.
No attempt to be integrated in a community,
Just shunned at every opportunity.
Our physical features may not be the same,
That doesn't mean we have to be submitted to shame.
Victims of discrimination,
We were born with retardation.
