My look back

by DannieDemon   Oct 14, 2007

Our eyes are like windows
Easy to break, into shards
Our tears are emotions
Put into material forms
And we can read our lives
By the scars on our wrists
And ignore the sounds
Of a childs cries

Falling into darkness
Bring on the numbness
Hands so cold they bite
And skin so light and white
Feel your face so cold
And lifes getting so old
You are walking a fine line
And this scar is mine

Now you are caving in again
Now you are drenched in rain
Rains made of tears
Cried for childrens fears
Hear that lustful sound
Its that of my body, hitting the ground

Shot by my own arm
I never meant to cause you harm
But you were just too much
And I couldnt go on as such
As such a scar
As just a tear

Now I'm dead, what do you want to say?
Now that I'm dead, can you make me okay?
Please dont bury me in a cemetery
Just leave me sleeping in my misery
And dont forget that I was just like you
I cant believe you never ever knew!

Looking back I wish someone had tried
To stop the way that I had died
Now I wish I never had said good bye
Now I ask my self, really, why?
