The flame of remorse

by A girl broken until   Oct 14, 2007

The flames reflected in her glistning eyes,
the lies of a thousand tortures,
slowly burn away,
fading away.

She remembers the dance,
she and the flames,
One uniqueness,
one passion.

She lost control,
with the ecstasy she found,
as she watched them rise,
to slowly fall.

Her empty eyes,
now watch the flames,
they begin to suffocate her,
her hands begin to feel the warmth.

She opens her arms,
ready for fate,
the lives of her innocene,
slowly fly above.

Her eyes fill with smoke,
she breathes in the pain she dealt,
She begins to burn,
a warm tinge of pain.

She slowly falls,
hitting the flames,
as they consume,
her last remorse.
