Death Pact: Only Signed By Me

by La Muse Angelique   Oct 14, 2007

I wonder if you would die for me
You once told me you would
But where are you now?
You are nowhere to be seen

I'm sorry I had to let you go
So suddenly, so fast without having a word said
We both had our problems that being our connexion
I couldn't handle them anymore, rolled a dollar bill and more white lines I took

We both signed a death pact on that day
I'm staying true to myself, staying true to you because you were my everything
Still waiting till this day for you to come and take my pain away
You sworn you would come to me, why is that other woman in between?

I guess that you have moved on
Now you've committed a sin for not being true to me
I can understand though, I really can
You now have solved your problems with her on your side
I hope you can enjoy the beauty of life

Since where I lay it is cold and dark
A body forgotten because of evolving future
A death pact only signed by me
Silently crying here in my grave
And longing for you to lay near me

This well written poem reads like a dark ballad yet the emotion bleeds through rather well
