Our First Kiss

I remember the "real" first time I looked into your eyes. I saw something there. I like what I saw. And I still look.

You started coming over. All on your own. Just to talk to me for a while. You used to catch me looking behind you. Then you realized I was looking at your hair. One night, you let touch it. It was so soft. You gave me such a look.

I remember the first time I put my hand on yours. I was so nervous. I swear I was shaking. I don't know how I got through the next few moments.

We would talk for hours. Our lips almost touching. It was a magic I'd never felt before. Never imagined.
We would talk all night long, until the sun came up.

Waiting for you the next night was sheer torture. Every night, and every night. My heart didn't know whether to stop, or jump out of my chest, any time I saw you. I would wait for you to drive up, and walk into my arms like you were born to be there.

Our first kiss. I caught you off guard. Your lips were so full. I didn't want it to stop. You actually moaned.
A sweet, soft, moan. My heart stopped, right then and there. I was hooked.

I remember when you first dared to stay the night as my lover. I was so scared, and so happy. I tried so hard to take my time, and all of yours. I hoped the morning would never come.

I wake these days, look over at you, and fall in love all over again. I really do. It's like... a favorite song. I can't wait to hear it again. All day long. All day.

When I hear your voice on the phone, my heart skips a beat. I play it off for you, so you don't hear me choke. But I do hope you hear me smile. I still smile, when I hear your voice.

What will I do without you? Why would I want to?
I hope I never have to. You've turned me into a sap.
Only you could do this to me. And that's just fine with me.
