Beloved Suicide

by cuddelyxbutxviciousXxX   Oct 18, 2007

There is some suffering within these walls;
Immortal trepidation lies inside
God witnesses my beloved suicide,
And to the ground the angels start to fall.
What is everything, when everything is all
Around us, as we look towards the tides?
Save me! Save me! From this fear I will hide,
And welcome then, when God's voice starts to call.
My dear angel, for you I shall not see,
When I begin to die in this horror.
And fade, with time, in this evanescence
I will remember the life you gave me-
The streets of gold, and gifts of lovely myrrh,
But I'll remember always, this last dance.

*This is a sonnet that I've written for my English class. For those who don't know what a sonnet is, it's a fourteen line poem, with ten syllables in each line (iambic pentameter) and is written about a single emotion. the emotion here is dying love. thanks for reading this!*
