To Cat and all my friends,

"It may be a while since I last wrote
but I hope that you would like this note."

How I want to be there for you
How I want to say "I miss you"

We're close and we both know that
But sometimes all I can say is "Cat!"

Nothing more after that word
Just a smile and silence's heard

I sometimes wonder how you are
And how has life been so far

We don't talk as much as we used to
Yet you let me know you think of me too

You never do forget a friend of yours
And that's something everyone adores

But I really want to take this time
To show my appreciation through rhyme

You're a friend that I do treasure
Up to here is how you measure

I know you might be just a bit upset
But you don't know where "here" is yet

I'm in a dream of dreams that goes so high
Passing the clouds, going beyond the sky

Lying in a bed of bliss, I think of you
Slowly coming back down to sit with you

It's then I realize that dreams is a heavens' view
But "here" with my friend is a dream come true
