I really like the style of your later writing, maybe because i too write in a similar style . out of interest sake do you also write your poems to be read aloud?
anyway this poem was really heart felt, and while i may not be a fan of religion i can still empathize with what you have said in it. great job
and as for time healing all wounds, well i don't quite agree with that. some of the deeper wounds only stop hurting quite as much as before. but they are always there as a dull ache
