Cackling and Snickering

by abracadabra   Oct 24, 2007

This afternoon
I could
go home early and draw the curtains
then rip
time into shreds and fling it above me
while prancing in my underwear
up and down
up and down
the corridor
cackling and crying
I don't care!
I don't care!
heedless
of the snickering of the
shreds as they flitter around me
in an almost timeless fashion
this afternoon

To be able to 'rip time into shreds' would be something , wouldn't it?
I love this - it's formatted really well and there is a quirkiness to it which is charming.

    Take care

I couldnt take the real real aim behind the poem, I wil make sure to reread but I would like to tell u that ur word choice was good, ..only few changes would make it PERFECT...the way u lined up the words..
