My heart is hurting
My eyes still weep
In the dark
Where no-one can see

They all want to know
I'm happy and glad
So glad your gone
So free to this world

But I'm not happy
I'm not ok
My love for you
It's here to stay

I cant let you go
Your always on my mind
Especially since
I gave it to you

I gave you my heart
I cant get it back
I tried to move on
I tried to let go

Everytime I get close
To letting my love go
You seem to fight it
You wont leave my heart

If I cant let go
I cant move on
But I guess I will
As time goes on

    Lovely sad write deep from within the heart. Emotions that are so embedded in mind that it will take a greater love to get rid of - yes, one day that will happen. Many of us relate to these wordings. So stay strong. It may be easy for me to say, but the poet's heart is fragile and easily shattered.
