Move

by Oracle   Nov 1, 2007

Under the moon so full of anguish,
above the earth that shunned all life and existence.
A hidden passion of assassination blooms for the better,
far from all that have found the miracle of love.
Nearing the time that the clock must strike to move further,
and within the looking glass of macabre illustrations.
Warm embraces end with a lifeless kiss,
wanting sets ablaze the heart of the pure entity.
Seeking is to eventually find and lose again,
to forget is to desire the escape from our escape within.
The wrath of time cannot be delayed,
all things must move,
if only for the sake of order.

Why does my heart desire your poetry? :( It's sorrowful in a way, because I can't seem to let go!

<Under the moon so full of anguish,
above the earth that shunned all life and existence.>

Alright! :) That was just... wow. So expressive and so beautiful. Breathtaking is the whole verse.

<A hidden passion of assassination blooms for the better,
far from all that have found the miracle of love.>

True! I love this line. It’s so imaginative and I sure do love imagination! :) I can relate. I feel sorry for those who do not find love in time; however, even to those who do but fail to hold on to it.

<Nearing the time that the clock must strike to move further,
and within the looking glass of macabre illustrations.>

You used my favorite word! Macabre. :) Marvelous word, right??

I specifically liked the first line of that sentence; it’s noteworthy and desiring to be kept. :) Kudos!

<Warm embraces end with a lifeless kiss,
wanting sets ablaze the heart of the pure entity.>

Has anyone ever told you how magnificently and spectacularly tremendous you are? If not they should, it’s beyond the truth as far as truth goes.
Your words were splendid for this verse: ablaze, pure, entity, lifeless, embraces; all grand.

<Seeking is to eventually find and lose again,
to forget is to desire the escape from our escape within.>

This one definitely caught my attention, especially the last line; it is so true! The thing about poets and poetry is that they have to be relevant in some way… between the two. Like faucet and water. :)

<The wrath of time cannot be delayed,
    all things must move,
if only for the sake of order.>

At times I wish most people to not be so brilliant because that makes them even more amazing and me saying it makes me look… weird. :) But it’s all very well, you know.
The ending was by far the most amazing, even if the whole poem was. It’s very moving, very inspiring, and very true! It’s pure, beautiful, magnifique! I loved it.

I wish you the best in your success, for I know you’ll get there. I pray you a million times reach for what you desire and believe in, not many people do and that’s a sad, sad thing. I’m friends with some of the saddest people… and they bore me sometimes, but… I care deeply and try to not let go. 5/5
