I've been lied to
I've been cheated
I've been thrown around
I've been used
I've been broken,
Torn,
Battered,
And Bruised.

So when you look at me
With those beautiful eyes
I have to close mine
And look the other way

I've lost myself
I've lost time,
Memories
Moments
And Feelings.

So when you hold me

I ignore your words
And pretend I didn't hear

Yet I've lied
And I've cheated
Thrown people around
Used them
Taken hearts and broke them,
Tore them
Battered them
And Bruised them.

But you have to know
That when I look into your eyes
That I mean everything
Whole heartedly

Don't lose hope

Don't lose our time,
Our Memories
Our Moments
And our Feelings.
