My Life, My Dream

by Bill Turner   Nov 12, 2007

Simple dreams flow through my mind
Wrapping my soul in love and lust
Knowing that each night I will find
Your passion, your love and our trust

Drifting into a somnambular bliss
Pulling your body against mine
Feeling the heat of your kiss
Lips sweet like strawberry wine

Bodies entwined in our sleep
Finding pleasure wrapped up in you
Offering up my soul to keep
Loving you in all that I do

This dream is my wonderful life
All that I have ever wanted my love
Forever your husband, forever my wife
Brought together from above

This poem really touched my heart. I can't pick one stanza because they all brought back so many memories. So few are blessed with a forever love.
    Excellent job!
