Christmas In Suffolk County

by Chris Rodriguez   Nov 22, 2007

I'm going home but my heart is here
Things look the same but it gets colder every year
The linings in my mind try to say
That there is something missing
I'm fine living with the fact
That it's the thing that I can't change and...

Christmas in Suffolk County
It's so hard to ignore that you aren't here anymore
But I'll take another winter
It gets easier every year

I hear the sound of my empty street
The orange light keeps reminding me
There has got to be a way
Despite what reality thinks
I just couldn't understand
Why I felt this way and...

Christmas in Suffolk County
It's so hard to ignore that you aren't here anymore
But 'll take another winter
It gets easier every time

Yea, the time
It starts to snow on us
The people come and go and that's just fine
Yea, God help me with the things that
I can't change
Wither they're wrong or right
