Life

by omgitsmina   Nov 24, 2007

Dreams and fantasies swirl throughout my thoughts
Mixing with the reality and what we've been taught
About how a person is special because of their flaws
And how it's pointless to live without any cause
For centuries we've searched for the answers up in the sky
Asking where did we come from, how, and why
But we've never found the answers we sought from up above
Instead we were given more complications with sorrow and love
And even though life's journey is down a long and perilous road
It's all worth it in the end; every person has a new story to be told

I agree with Rooe - space makes space within each thought. It lets a poem pause and breath. Each story will be told, you're right about that, tell your story well and may your passion find perfect blank pages to fill with your own tales. Peace - keep up the good writes.
