Awwww hunn. It's so cute ^_^ Great first write! I think you just need to work on the flow of each of the lines together to make it look more like a technical-ish poem. If you know what I mean. If you don't, well you'll need to for other comments others will give you about numerous poems. =P

From an emotive stand point, I thought it was adorable. It made me think of my closest friends and how much they all mean to me and why I live every day of my life. It is because of them. And in this poem, you portray that very well. I like the BEAUTIFULLY worded lines, just some may need to be moved around to make the lines sort of flow into each other. Other than that, I gave it a 5/5! Great job and keep writing! xoxo =)

Cute poem, I was reminded of Donnie Darko when I read this, just the way he let himself die to save the people close to him, and I felt like in a way the corner you mentioned was your feelings, and were relating it to how you can just pretend things are going fine when really life sucks to make the people around you happy. I dk, maybe its just me. But yeah, good poem though short, I thought it had a lot of meaning.
