4 am train

by The Undoing   Dec 17, 2007

I want to write about Sarah,
I want her to know what it's like.
I need to show her what she means,
But I can't cause of Mike.

She can't let go of a personal Jesus,
She can't have a new love to feed.
Cause he is all she ever wished for,
But I'm all she'll ever need.

I've got a million unsaid words,
A million more left.
I remember having feelings,
They were her first theft.

I can't cry cause of her,
She's the reason I need to.
When she holds my hand,
What am I supposed to do?

She say's you can't leave,
you're everything to me.
You know you can't leave me alone,
I need you to be.

I let her know that I gotta go,
That life is leaving me behind.
As the train leaves at 4 am,
she is the only thing on my mind.
