A Dying Love

A piece of me is dying,
I have nothing left to give,
It is the part that said I love you,
As long as I shall live.

What can I do with these feelings,
But hide them deep inside,
I can not express them,
When he is by your side.

I am torn between,
Which part to play,
I want to be more,
Than a friend today.

So here I sit,
A face full of tears,
Wondering what the future,
Brings through the years.

All these feelings,
Will not leave me alone,
I think about you at work,
And when I am home.

I think about the memories,
And the times that we share,
The touch of your sweet lips,
And the feel of your hair.

But the outcome I want,
Can only be a myth,
For you have someone now,
That you're currently with.

So I will save all my cuddles,
And kisses to myself,
And try to store these feelings,
Back on the shelf.

For if I would act,
On any of them,
It would only spell trouble,
For both you and him.

But is this your wish?
I really do not know,
