A Fighting Love

by Poetic Ninja aka Papachopchop   Dec 22, 2007

When is love,
Worth fighting for,
When you have lost that someone,
That you honestly adore,
When they have left for someone,
They think they love more,
Or maybe for the one,
They loved once before.

You know you can treat her,
Better than he can,
You know you can show her,
You are more of a man,
You know you will be there,
To always hold her hand,
With patience and love,
So she will understand.

I refuse to just sit,
With tears in my eyes,
You know how I love you,
And will never make you cry,
You know that I am sweet,
And a heck of a guy,
When will you come back,
And give me another try?

This is such an awesome poem, even though it's sad, you made it to where the reader could almost feel your pain, very well written 5/5

I agree with the first stanza and find love a questionable thing....people could know everything about it, know everyone's experiances, and still have no idea what it is about, whether its even real.
