Please

by aDORKable x3   Jan 10, 2008

If I could say the words, I'd shout them out to you -
I'd scream until my lungs were sore and there was nothing left to do.
Then I'd whisper like the wind beneath the willow trees,
The screams of "Come back!" with the added whisper "Please..."

I remember the way we danced to the moonlight's sweet song,
How the days seemed so short and our nights seemed so long.
If I could hold onto each moment in the palm of my hand...
Maybe it would help me to finally understand.

Short, but beautiful. I fell in love with every single line. These two lines were my favorite though,

Then I'd whisper like the wind beneath the willow trees,
The screams of "Come back!" with the added whisper "Please..."

I'm not sure why, but I thought that it was amazing. You are such a talented writer, please don't stop writing! Keep it up darling. 5/5 <3 <3 <3
