She sees him in the halls
He gives her a quick glance grimaces and moves along

Slipping and sinking

She sees his face everywhere wondering what he thinks, who he wants, who he kisses, who he misses, who he hugs, who he touches, and where he is.

She looks past the cloth
and notices a bit of blood
it stains her heart
and her soul.

Passion is around her
mind over matter
love over lust.

She misses him so much

He slips her a note
and it said;
I miss you. No joke. I hate the other girl. She's just a pretty face. She eats me up inside. With all her remarks. I love you please come back.

She looked at him and he smiled his sweet smile.
She mouthed the words;
I love you too.

She changes back
into her normal self
No worries
No hurt
He loves her so much,
And wishes they'll never be apart
She loves him back
And hopes she stays the same.
He loved her in any fight,
And however she looked
He knew how much the leaving made her change
And he knew what was underneath
He loved her too much to hurt her again
She filled the spaces
where the blood had seeped; on her heart and soul
She took the pieces,
and put them back together
She missed him too much
She wanted it the way it used to be
And now it is

Back along the road of recovery
she smiles softly from the spot she stands
He smiles back and says I love you too
He doesn't have to ask
He doesn't have to say
He knows when something is bothering her
Or when she is sad

He loves her too much to hurt her
