Serenity

Serenity
Hold Me

Take me to a place where the world is gifted
And the streets are fixed and the spirits are lifted
Send me the signal when everything is alright
When the shadows come, make it light
Rise to the depths of all the burdens brought
Hate will fill my mind and remind me of those I've fought

Serenity
Fight Me

Look into my eyes, and see the fire burning
Disintegrate to the ground, start learning
Leave alone Fate, let her restore her amends
And watch all the memories begin to descend
Realize that this life has turned into a sin
Make the moments that crashed, start to begin

Serenity
Break Me

Feel the heartbeat of the many lives lost
Take the hit and pay the needed cost
Hear the electric guitar start to play
Get distracted in the trance, forget the day
Remember the words that were said
Sucked into a hole, and the ones that were dead

Serenity
Kill Me

Break the bond of those who are proud
And stab them with the knife, scream aloud
Release the pain that was sent to believe
Hide the fact that the shot made me bleed
The heart was destroyed, now there's no emotion
And know that because of this, no more devotion

Serenity came, it held me, fought me, broke me, and now it killed me
