All Messed Up

by Poetic Grunt   Jan 13, 2008

Since the first day you took my breath away
Nothing left to say except a shadow left to decay
Out on my own my hearts turned to stone
A soldier full of pain left to wait in the rain
Tears drip down as the memories are drown
A fire dies early and in me its left burning
The hate burns within and i'm left in a world of sin
Vengance is now the key to scoring any victory
taking those who sent you away into the darkness they will pay
No one will realize no one will see what lies in these eyes
I only wanted to protect you and now you think you know the truth
I am the one who murdered your heart and yet I cant stand when were apart
I am the liar and I am the one who set you on fire
But no one will see the truth and nobody will care until its point and shoot
In the end the truth will be found but a what price another man dies without a sound

"I am the liar and I am the one who set you on fire" I love that line. It makes you think about alot of things. And in all honesty this is a beautiful poem.
