The Beach

The beach laps the shore
Where I used to adore
The wind in your hair,
Like a fresh autum breeze
You made me buckle,
It was my choice
You would never insist,
You knew I couldn't resist
I walk the same beach now and again
Hoping to see the wind in your hair
Your attitude, with a flare,
It is empty now
no one in sight,
Do I really have this God given right,
My mind is a wander,
So, I will always ponder,
The walks on the beach
In hopes, it's you, that I reach.......
