Fell So Far

by Taylor   Jan 20, 2008

*Found this and thought I'd post it*

Day one, I didn't really even know you
You were the shy boy, who told me dreams can come true
And I watched as my life flashed before my eyes
I heard so many people release their cries
I tripped on the pavement and didn't just skin my knee
I realized that moment, I needed to be set free

And I fell, I fell so far
And no one will save me from the crashing car
This whole time, I can't believe I never saw you
You were always there for me, and I never knew
I'm not soaring anymore, someone please save me
Rip off my shadow and set me free

How weird, weird to hear your voice again
But I still refuse to call you my friend
Because you don't even act that way
You just give me that look with nothing to say
Ignorance, ignorance is the key to success
Maybe I will be relieved of all this distress

The clock struck 12, time for another day
And once again, I know I won't get my way
You can change the future, but you can't change your past
But you can do things more slowly, to make it last
I found the moment, where I realized Fate
And this time, she let me choose the memories I make
