Echoes

by Bill Turner   Jan 21, 2008

Alone in the darkness of my mind
Surrounded by memories and debris
Wandering aimlessly among the garbage
Echoes reverberating with each foot fall
Amazed that the space seems so small

Demons swarming with no light
Scent of misery hanging in the air
Fangs dripping with regrets past
Ripping at the wounds life gave me
Knowing that there is no getting free

Pain is all I have ever known
Unable to accept any of the light
Let the misery wash over my soul
Born screaming and covered in blood
When I leave it will be with a thud

These senteces I do not believe...you have a woman in your life you love very much. Therefore you have known joy and love...am I right??

    Take care,
