The Accident

by JEFF   Jan 23, 2008

Opening my eye's to see you staring down on me,
I lye still not moving not saying a word.
A tear drops from your face lands on mine,
Not knowing whats wrong everything still a blur.

My eyes begin to roll around,
Looking for what may help me understand.
You tell me to lay very still,
And softly squeeze my hand.

A fear has come over me,
As i realize my situation.
I'm Laying in the road,
My bodies covered in lacerations.

I stare back up at you,
As what has happened hits me.
Hearing sirens in the back ground,
From which direction i can't see.

My hearing starts to go,
Eye sight begins to fade.
I can feel hands touching my body,
A soft lift up from where i once laid.

Everything is dark and silent,
No more cries no more pain.
My eyes slowly open,
Vision i start to regain.

As the brightness of the light,
Slowly fades away.
I see you once again not crying,
But smiling in a happy way.

    This is great!

It does remind me alot of my writing style.

I feel somewhat strange complimenting your poems after just telling you,it reminds me of my own pieces.I feel cocky, lol.

However, this is really amazing,it has perfect flow,I enjoy reading you stuff.
