Silently Screaming

Silently Screaming

Darkness fills the room as she feels her tears hit her chest --
Each one proving she's not the perfect daughter.
Each one reminiscing of the events that just past;
Silent tears streaming towards her broken heart...

Laughing is heard from beyond the locked door--
Her father's laugh at the red, white, and blue anthem.
Her mother's laugh at the children on the television screen;
Silent tears streaming towards her broken heart...

The blue light flashes from with in the cracked frame--
Reminding her that she is not the boy they always wanted.
Reminding her there is only a space in their heart, not for her;
Silent tears streaming towards her broken heart...

Silently screaming she reminisces of the past events--
Knowing she will never be the perfect daughter.
Listening to her father and mother laugh their regret away;
Silent tears steaming towards her broken heart...

    I really like the repetition, it really left a lot of impact. The whole poem I thought was really grasping. Excellent write.
