Dreams vs Reality

by ShawnnaLeigh   Jan 26, 2008

She chooses not to speak
She'll let the tears fall down her cheeks
With wide eyes she'll stare
A blurred vision makes her unaware

She looks, but she can't see
The creeping vision which is he.
The whispers of soft words around her head
Nothing but sweet lies were said

She starts violent screaming
It must be an illusion that she is dreaming
When will you leave her alone?
The only love she's ever known

Constant thoughts run through her mind
She looks for answers she'll never find
Will she find the way out??
There is hope but much more doubt

The addiction that can't be fixed
Brings up memories that are mixed
She screams for help, she screams for you
But like she thought you never come through.

Is it real or is it fake?
Is it a dream, or is she awake?
Whispers turn to screams
Nothing is as what it seems.

Will the sun come out, or will it hide?
Where's the warmth it used to provide?
She's confused, she doesn't know
Will she stay or will she go?

She cries out for your name
But things seem to say the same
She thinks it's all just a dream
Until you hear her silent screams.
