You Watched Me

by mizunderstood   Feb 1, 2008

You watched me playing 'round our door,
your own little daughter of four.
You wondered why a child would choose,
for you, in which, it did confuse.

You've seen me cry with all my might,
as you held me snug and tight.
You smiled to see me walk again,
only to fall right back down again.

You've heard me say, my voice was glad,
" I love you mom, and always have."
I hope my words did not confuse,
the one i've had on such short fuse.

You've been with me through the good and the bad,
for it was me you believed in and always have.
Even though our love is strong,
I will always love you Mom.
