Shatter

by The Undoing   Feb 6, 2008

I throw the bottle to the ground; it shatters just before my eyes.
She don't know how it hurts me, she don't know how I cry.
My best friends they all love me, they shatter right before my eyes,
she knows what to do to me, and she knows just what makes me cry.
And she's falling, while I'm crying out, just to let her know,
He's lying, and he'll false it 'til his days of dying,
But I just can't stand to see her crying.
He's my best friend, and she'd my last,
they shatter just before my eyes.
I know how he feels,
and I know just why she cries.
I know when they're together,
they're happy,
and my life shatters just before my eyes.

One of my favorite songs has the same title, this is the main reason i decided to read this piece. Even though it is nothing like the song I am still glad that i read it. It is well written. it has a very clear voice and the emotion stands out well. I also like the way you drafted the story of it.
