What a way to grab the reader's attention. Excellent word choice and imagery!

This is a poem many people can relate to as we have all been hurt at one point in our lives by something or someone.
It seems to be well thought out and you have a nice articulate word choice consistently throughout the piece. This is the kind of poetry that deserves to win a contest. Congratulations!
