Sometimes even when God forgives us, it is difficult for us to forgive ourselves and also hard for others to forgive us. We must forgive ourselves in order to move on. You are right that only time tells what we have done that will become regrets and we have to wait for new beginnings. Well done.

Forgiving ourselves is the hardest, we can forgive an enemy easier.

I really liked how you put the lines
''The poet weeps
The heart cries''
It really touched me because I have felt like that many times in my life.
I agree with what the other comments, forgiving ourselves is the hardest thing one can do, and no matter how hard we try, the regret is still there, along with questions starting with ''if''.
