I think sadly many of us can relate to this piece on a lot of different levels. I enjoyed it, you vented without being crass, which can sometimes be hard to do. keep up the good work, very touching.

This is so beautiful..you kinda said it all on how it feels when a loved ones leaves you behind..for whatever reason that may be.

Because of the way it is kept small, it has such a deep impact..I read in your profile how old you are and somehow that makes this piece even more powerful. People often don't realize just how much grief they cause when they leave ( intentionally), especially with young people.

You get my vote as well!

Beautiful Poem I love the word FOREVER with a passion i try to stress its importance in all my poems and how you did it was good also i love the wordings you used to express your emotions one of my favorite part from this poem was:
(The life you knew was the most beautiful sight for your troubled eyes.
In the darkness, there was always a light,
To guide you back to those you loved.)
