I believe a lot of people will relate to this or can sympathize with this women. Saying good bye is a very difficult thing for most people and it hits us hardest when we are not ready to. I love how you put "your lines" in quotes as to tell the reader where you stand. It's difficult losing a loved one especially a baby. I love the different emotions from both characters as well, the nurse is trying to stay strong for the both of them and can sympathize because she has seen this happen, the women it seems has never lost a child until now. That ending is such sorrow. You never know what to say when loss comes into your life. This is an excellent write. 5/5

Sober, somber, dismal, yet beautiful, the pain cuts you to the core and chills you to the bone.losing a child, whether one of your own womb or one with whom you have any other blood, spiritual or emotional bond with, is the most intense pain in this life.I can both sympathise and empathise with the woman, for I lost my infant sister before she'd even lived a year on this green earth, and to this day the pain and loss still hits me like a ton of bricks at the worst of times and shakes my very core.what a beautiful way to write of such a tragic event, you really bring the reader right into the room and place them next to that devastated mother and strong enduring nurse,a truly wonderful but tragic piece
