Wow! Just brilliant! I love this! I love how you narrated the moments, how it was full of sadness, but you still tried to accept it and face the reality. I wonder, is the one speaking was a mistress? If that's so... this is amazing (: Haha .. I am not sure, but that's what I think. Maybe that was what you meant by wanting to be in a home that's not even yours and the reference of a wife. At first, I thought that the person was important to the speaker, she said there's a wife, so I thought a friend was the one who died, but I knew there was more than that... a lover, and that makes her the mistress. Am I right? Haha .. That's evern harder, how you can't fully show your emotion 'cause you must not and you notice everything in the funeral and hurt just as much a the wife. I love the title, it was like you cannot believe that he is now gone, he is no longer here and that's hard to accept. I also inhaled death while reading this. This is just beautiful! The imagery is fantastic! Added to favorites (:

The way the poem was formed was beautiful, the sadness of the poem was spectacular, and what made me almost cry is the fact this poem had a story about a husband who died and left his widow behind. It hurts when someone dies but it burns like hell when you love your spouse and they die.
Sorrow was stitched in this whole entire poem it had a bittersweet view to me, made me think bout the future that's in store for me one day. Very nicely done
